Ouroffertoyou

  • We are offering an internshipin Interactive Guidance for Navigated SpinalSurgery

  • You will have the opportunity to develop prototypes for our Surgical Navigation System and support our team with your proof-of-concept application.

  • You will be an active member of our international and interdisciplinary research and development team.

  • You will implement your solution using C++ or Python and Matlaband evaluate it in an ecosystem consisting of state-of-the-artnavigation and imaging systems.

  • You will learn and apply the latest technologies in machine vision, computer graphics, human-computer interactionand interactive systems.

  • You will conduct independent research in the surgery room environment to find out how innovative ideas can be applied in a value-adding way.

Thatmakesyoustand out

  • You are studying for a master’s degree in computer science, medical engineering, mathematics, physicsor a comparable subject.

  • You have experience with test setups and object-oriented programming languages (e.g.C/C++), script languages (e.g.Python, Matlab) or libraries (OpenCV, Qt, DCMTK).

  • You have a good grasp of mathematics.

  • You want to tackle challenging problems in medical engineering.

  • You are known among friends and fellow students for your initiative and flexibility.

  • You have a good command of English and ideally a good command of German.

  • You work independently, are highly motivated and committed, and are prepared to take on responsibility quickly.
