Praktikum Bachelor oder Master "Effiziente Ka-Band Leistungsverstärker für Phased-Array Systeme in der Raumfahrt" (d/w/m)
Job Description:
Für aktuelle und zukünftige Satellitenkonstellationen werden Phased-Array Systeme mit einer Vielzahl von einzelnen Antennenelementen und Leistungsverstärkern eingesetzt. Die Größenverhältnisse für Anwendungen im Ka-Band (17.7-21.2 GHz Downlink and 27.5-31.0 GHz Uplink) erfordern hierbei eine Integration mehrerer Kanäle in einen integrierten Schaltkreis. Aufgrund der Vielzahl der Elemente ist die Leistungseffizienz von sehr großer Bedeutung.
Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit sollen Leistungsverstärker für Phased-Array Systeme entworfen werden. Der Fokus soll hierbei auf möglichst hoher Effizienz liegen, wobei die Rahmenbedingungen für einen Betrieb im LEO berücksichtigt werden sollen.

Deine Aufgaben
- Literaturrecherche zu effizienten Leistungsverstärkern
- Entwurf und Simulation eines Leistungsverstärkers in einer SiGe BiCMOS Technologie
- Dokumentation und Zusammenfassung der Ergebnisse
Deine Qualifikationen
- Immatrikulierter Student in der Fachrichtung Nachrichtentechnik, Hochfrequenztechnik,Elektrotechnik/Informationstechnik
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit Schaltungsentwurfssoftware (Keysight ADS, Cadence Virtuoso)
- Erste Erfahrungen im Schaltungsdesign, idealerweise im Bereich RFICs oder MMICs
- sehr gute Deutsch-, sowie Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind Voraussetzung
- Engagement und eigenständiges Arbeiten in einem kommunikativen Team sind selbstverständlich
