Intern in Controlling Airbus Helicopters Deutschland (d/f/m)

Job Description:

In order to support theFinance for Support & Services controlling department,Airbus Helicoptersis looking for anIntern in Controlling Airbus Helicopters Deutschland (d/f/m).

  • Location: Donauwörth

  • Start: September 2025

  • Duration: 3-6 months

In this position you will be contributing to the financial performance of the organization by analyzing, supporting and ensuring the data quality. You will ensure compliance and (re)enforce finance processes and raise finance awareness within the business.

Missions

As 1st missions, you will be working on:

• products' warranty budgets follow up: WBS creation in SAP, data extraction, analysis & reports

• Formalization of balance sheet reconciliation process (IFRS & Local gaap)

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Depending on your performance, your soft skills and your capacity to integrate the tools & tasks, you will have opportunities to work on others controlling tasks or projects like:

  • Support the preparation of financial planning

  • Participate in the preparation of financial reports

  • Trigger cost rebooking & cost assumption if necessary

  • Ensure that financial processes are defined, documented and known (e.g. for public contracts, tax credits, rebilling of services, administrative fees)

  • Assist in explaining and raising business awareness on financial matters (key terms, company finances, technical considerations e.g. taxes, capitalization...)

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled full-time-student (d/f/m) within finance, economic science, business administration or comparable, with strong appetite for disruptive technologies and data-driven strategies

  • Advanced knowledge in Excel, Familiarity with SAP as a plus

  • Curious, dynamic & strong commitment to continuous improvement

  • Autonomy and ability to challenge & propose new ideas, service mindedness

  • Good communication skills (ability to make finance important to non-finance people and to make complex issues understandable)

  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Fluent in English; good German skills would be beneficial
