Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Orthopedics is recruiting for a Supply Planning Intern located in Zuchwil (Switzerland).

As a part of the Global Planning team, you will contribute to the Supply Network planning and inventory optimization processes by supporting the development and implementation of data-driven solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data, develop models, dashboard and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, including data modelling and scenario planning.

The organization continues to improve and strengthen its processes and with that, we are experiencing opportunities to address many variables in the supply chain. Specifically, we would like to go after the opportunity to develop the scenario planning capabilities to optimize supply parameters (lot size, lead time…), including the financial & inventory impacts through visualization of the data to support the decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Base Business by running Weekly Performance Reports + Supporting Supply Planners in their weekly and Monthly drumbeats
  • Understand Key Business Opportunities linked to Supply Planning Management
  • Drive Scenario Planning and come up with business recommendations
  • Build Supply Network Planning Maturity via Workstream Project Contributions

Qualifications

Education:

  • A Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong affinity for working with data
  • Proactive Autonomy and ability to drive Projects to an end

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Alteryx, Power BI
  • Exposure to ERP Systems (Mainly SAP)
  • Understanding of advanced planning tools (OMP, Kinaxis, or APO)
  • Education / Past Professional Experience in Supply Chain Management

Other:

  • English (required), German / French is a plus
  • Travel will be occasional, to visit Manufacturing Sites
  • APICS, Green Belt, and Project Management Certification would be an asset
  • Start Date: 15th of January 2025 - Flexible
