Then support us in Munich with max. 20 hours per week as working student in our team "Credit Risk Analysis & Advisory” in UniCredit Bank GmbH.
The "Analysis & Advisory” team and the "Credit Risk Projects & Analysis” department are the hub for data, analyzes and innovative credit risk projects at UniCredit Bank GmbH. We use big data, advanced analytics and machine learning techniques as well as business intelligence solutions. In this way, we increase efficiencies and uncover previously inaccessible information in a standardized, transparent and addressee-friendly manner. We actively support the digital transformation of the entire UniCredit Group, from identifying use-cases for interactive visualizations, through evaluation and implementation to roll-out for users. We work in close collaboration with other departments of the bank, UniCredit Holding and its other legal entities.
What you'll be doing
- Daily handling big data volumes, coding the extraction and visualization of information.
- Support us in the automation of our Credit Risk processes via dashboards and development of impact analyses.
- You will have an overview on the latest regulation topic of banking supervision and you will support us in the efficient and agile application of these rules.
- Apply innovative methods for Data analytics.
Daily activities will comprise data analysis/processing with SAS/SQL, code implementation and testing, evaluation and analysis, provide standardized solutions and especially information visualization.
What you'll need to succeed
- Academic background in a quantitative field such as computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics or a related discipline
- Practical experience with databases (SQL) is necessary and knowledge of at least one programming language is a prerequisite (preferably SAS, or Python, Power Query, …)
- Basic experience with data visualization – ideally Business Intelligence software (i.e. SAS Visual Analytics, PowerBI/DAX, Tableau, …)
- Interest in working within heterogeneous data and system landscape
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve and structure complex tasks
- Relation to the financial sector/banking through specialization during studies, internship or training would be beneficial
- Fluent in English
In your application, please let us know your preferred start date, contract length (e.g. 12 months), if you would be available more than 20h/week in semester brakes (incl. preferred number of hours and corresponding timespan), confirmation for availability for on-site work in Munich at least one day per week and the planned end date of university studies (e.g. master).
