About the team:

The mission of Organizational Growth & Health is to become the transformation engine for a skills-led future. We are the catalyst of organizational health by developing the foundation for strategic workforce management: ensuring the relevant skills for a lasting business success, the right organizational design to allow for efficient collaboration and healthy and engaged employees.

Organizational Design and New Work is a Center of Expertise. The team is responsible to develop and implement a comprehensive Organizational Design Framework including a governance model as well as define roles and responsibilities to guides transformation initiatives within SAP.

As our teams are facing significant change (e.g. cloud transformation) and want to become more adaptable and resilient in navigating the growing complexity and unpredictability. Introducing new ways of working (such as Agile Methodologies, or Distributed Leadership) helps teams empower people and manage this complexity.

In your role you support all Organizational Design efforts as well as the coordination of the New Work Movement (our community with 3000+ Followers) as a platform for learning and dialogue (e.g., hosting events within our community).

We are looking for a highly motivated student who is willing to challenge themselves and learn quickly in a very dynamic environment.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Self-driven and with strong organizational skills
  • Basic to good understanding of Organizational Design, change management, and organizational development
  • Passion for New Work Practices, e.g., Agile Methodologies, Objectives-and-Key-Results or Distributed Leadership
  • Proven ability to collaborate with a flexible, positive attitude and ability to drive topics independently
  • Excellent communication skills (English and German) and interested in connecting and motivating people in an international, multicultural environment
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and problem-solve in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Strong team player with an open mindset and open towards uncertainty, ambiguity and complexity
  • Tasks include:
  • Flexible involvement in our team’s daily business (organizing, facilitating, and hosting events, controlling & reporting)
  • Support research, help turn ideas into activities that we can test, draft communication materials etc.
  • Community Management on multiple platforms (MS Teams, Share Point, Social Media)

Who you are:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study:Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Media & Communication
  • Soft skills: Communication, learn and adapt quickly, proactivity, be able to work and learn in a self-directed fashion, marketing, instructional design, organizational skills
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Power Point, Teams, Share Point)
  • Language skills: German and English (both fluent in spoken and written)

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
