Our Avionics department is searching for a highly motivated individual to join us as an Avionics Development and Test Intern (m/f/d). This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced aerospace environment, contributing directly to demanding prototyping efforts that support major, time-critical test campaigns. Your Tasks
Yourpersonal responsibilities in the team will include some of the following:
- Developmentof Electrical/Electronic Components: Support the design, development, andtesting of avionics hardware.
- Developmentof test platforms/environments: Design, develop and build test platformsto effectively test avionics systems.
- TestProcedure Development: Contribute to the creation of cost- andtime-effective test methodologies.
- SystemsDesign: Work on electrical wiring harnesses, Electrical circuits, andmechatronic subsystems for avionics applications.
- Handson work for integration and debugging of avionics hardware.
- EngineeringDocumentation: Prepare and maintain technical reports, schematics, anddevelopment documentation.
Your Qualifications
Meeting some of theserequirements will give you a strong basis with which to join our team.
- Currentstudent in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering orrelated discipline.
- Experiencein working with electrical and electronics testing equipment (e.g.oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQs etc.).
- Abilityto work hands-on with avionics and IT hardware.
- Experiencewith electronics circuit design, schematics capture, and related toolslike Altium, KiCAD, LTSpice.
- Strongcommunication skills to conduct technical meetings and collaborate withmultiple departments.
- Theability to work effectively independently and under pressure within tightdeadlines.
- Fluentoral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performedin English)
- Strongmotivation to participate in New Space and contribute to cutting-edgeaerospace projects.
