Intern (m/f/d) Design Engineer
Our international and agile team is continually searching for a motivated person to work as an Intern (f/m/d) Design Engineer. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in demanding prototyping efforts that are supported by major, time-and-cost-critical test campaigns allowing us to close short-iteration development cycles at fast pace. Your Tasks
- Assist an experienced designer in developing practical design solutions fromconcept, through detail design to manufacturing drawings
- Participate in design reviews with all stakeholders frompeer designers to management
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) for input into theprocurement process
- Create technical documentation on existing andnew designs
- May be expected to assist in actual hands-ontasks such as assembly and testing
Your Qualifications
- Motivated and eager to learn
- Experience with Siemens NX (Modeling, Drafting, Sheet Metal) highly recommended
- Able to perform basic structural handcalculations
- Knowledge of basic hardware and tools commonly used in the industry
- Hands-on experience with common workshop handand power tools advantageous
- Exhibits the ability to review and comprehenda set of project documents and drawing
- Fluent English oral and written (allday-to-day activities are performed in English)
